How to use Google Assistant to remember your things

Google assistant can do much more than you think. If you are relying on applications like Evernote, Keep to note and remember things for you, there is a better option “Google Assistant”. Ask it questions. Tell it to do things. It’s your own personal assistant. It is available on Android Marshmallow and Nougat phones. Press and hold the home button or just say “Ok Google” to launch the application.

USE GOOGLE ASSISTANT TO REMEMBER THINGS FOR YOU

Launch Google Assistant on your mobile device and then say “Remember” followed by information you would want Google to remember for you. For instance you can say

  • Remember that my car registration number is “1234x”
  • Remember tomorrow is parent teacher meeting in my son’s school.
  • Remember my Girlfriend likes me to wear blue shirt.

Google Assistant will store the information so that it can be used later on.

HOW TO RETRIEVE STORED INFORMATION

Launch the application again anytime and just say “What is my car registration number ?” or “What are the things i asked you to remember ?”.  The assistant will show up the details asked by you.

You can also clear the memory stored by google by saying “Forget my car registration number”
