1. Samsung DeX

Samsung Dex is a new feature that allows users to use their Galaxy S8 just like a desktop by providing a seamless, secure mobile-to-PC transition. DeX supports keyboard and mouse, thus providing the effortless usability of a PC. With the ability to quickly shift between different windows ,adjust window size, users can multitask more efficiently.

2. Enhanced Security by Iris Scanner

The Galaxy S8/S8+ provides strengthened security features through the integration of Knox security platform and a combination of new and enhanced bio metric technologies. The Galaxy S8’s highly secure iris scanner is fast, accurate and touch-free. Apart from Iris scanner there other security features such as fingerprint scanning and new facial recognition capabilities.

The Galaxy S8 also provides various security services including Secure Folder and Samsung Pass, which lets users easily log into mobile banking apps and websites on the Samsung Internet Browser using biometric authentication.

3. Bixby

Bixby is Samsung’s reply to Siri and Google assistant. Bixby is new intelligent interface created to enhance the way people interact with their Galaxy S8. Bixby is based on contextual awareness to learn users’ habits and provide related information, and is easily activated with a press of its dedicated hardware button or by saying “Bixby.”

User can control multiple apps simultaneously using voice and touch commands interchangeably. Bixby has the ability to control settings and features of each service. Its Vision interface can detect what users are looking for and respond accordingly, making it easier to search for images similar to ones selected by the user, shop online, get information about landmarks, decode QR codes and even translate foreign text through the phone’s Camera.

4. Redefined Design

The Galaxy S8 showcase a large Infinity Display, a bezel-less, dual-edge display that takes up more than 80 percent of the phone’s front screen. There is no physical home  button. S8 is available in five colors including Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold. The camera, fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensorare present on the back of the device.

5. Infinity Display

The Galaxy S8 display is 18 percent larger than the display of its predecessor Galaxy S7. In landscape mode the viewing area is increased by 36 percent compared to the Galaxy S7. The Infinity Display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which is tough against scratches and external impacts.

6. Samsung Connect

Samsung Connect lets users manage and monitor the smart devices in their home from one unified app. Users can connect their IoT device to galaxy through the Samsung Connect app. They can then set individual modes with different rules for each device.

7. Advance Camera

The Galaxy S8 features advanced camera, which offers multi-frame image processing. Multi frame image processing enables S8 to takes number of photos and then selects the clearest image. This enhanced image processing ensures that shots taken when the subject is moving, in low light or when zoomed in are clear and vibrant. The S8 is equipped with animated stickers and stamps which can be applied to images while taking photos.

The User Experience of the Galaxy S8 adds convenience and enhance the flow of user interactions. The S8 UX is seamless, unifying visual and audio components to create a great viewing experience.
